Meet Chrissy! In mid 2018 Chrissy had hit her highest weight; she has been crushing Keto ever since. 

“I hit my highest weight and felt sluggish all the time. I needed some structure to my eating habits and didn't want to be a slave to the gym to continue enjoying foods I liked. I never imagined my entire life would completely change!”

So how did she get started?

“I started doing some research, followed some keto bloggers, checked out keto food lists and noticed most of the foods that were acceptable were foods I loved! I made a commitment and decided to go ALL IN.

The beginning was hard, fun, challenging, rewarding. It was neat experiencing what "food for fuel" was. I always ate for pure enjoyment and now I was learning how to be disciplined with my habits. It was easier than I thought, because I was in ketosis and I was so fueled off the healthy, satiating fats! I ate a lot of fatty meats, cheeses, heavy cream, leafy greens, avocado, coconut oil, cauliflower, brussels sprouts, chia seeds and almonds. Anything I craved that wasn't a good keto-approved option, I learned to make creatively through subbing out ingredients. When I started losing weight and had boundless energy, people took notice.”

Keto has completely changed her life for the better. Now, Chrissy is dedicated to encouraging and helping others. Her advice to others is:

“My basics: electrolytes, ketones, quality meats, a good blood ketone meter, and find a system that works for you. I tracked my macros using MyFitnessPal and followed a macros breakdown of 75% fats, 20% protein, and 5% carbs. My advice is also this: Find a way of eating that works for you. Keto isn't for everyone, but it is a great path for many. Work on your relationship with food. It's an important one. And lastly, when you experience the benefits that come from keto, start sharing your journey and encouraging others. We are all in this community together!”
